Payal Montague BSc (Hons) Ost Med. DO. DN. MBAcC, Lic. Ac.

Payal is very passionate about the work that she does and about bringing the services to the community. The clinic currently treats patients from across the southeast, including Kent, and the local area of Eltham.

Payal Montague originally trained at the British College of Osteopathy and Naturopathy in London, a respected college and research establishment. After completing a full time 4 year course in osteopathy and naturopathy in 2001, she continued her studies in cranial osteopathy by completing the pathway with the Sutherland Cranial College becoming a full member of the college in 2009, and at the School of Five Element Acupuncture (SOFEA) in London, qualifying with a practitioners Licentiate in Acupuncture in 2006. Payal has also continued her training with the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) since 2002.

Payal is a fully registered and insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the General Council and Register of Naturopaths (GCRN) and the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). These professional bodies maintain strict professional codes of ethics and safety.

After qualifying in 2001 Payal worked all over the UK, including working with world renowned acupuncturist and naturopath Jan de Vries for 17 years. She practised in his clinics in Troon, Glasgow, Ayr, Hertfordshire, Belfast and Dublin. Jan de Vries was a mentor and regularly did additional training to help pass on his extensive knowledge. In addition to this Payal also practised in two sports injury clinics in Merseyside. These roles gave her invaluable experience in helping with a wide range of conditions.

In addition to working Payal has completed numerous CPD courses which have included those covering infertility (male and female), pregnancy, cancer survivorship, chronic fatigue syndrome (Perrin Technique), hyperventilation syndrome, back pain, headaches and migraines, shoulder pain, facial revitalisation, stroke treatments, sports injuries, the gut microbiome and immune system function. These courses have all been with leading experts in their field. In the near future Payal is hoping to complete courses in Paediatric acupuncture, Women’s Health and ultrasound musculoskeletal diagnosis.

Payal specialises in neck, back and limb pain, fertility and pregnancy issues and helping to treat babies and young children.
