What is Cranial Osteopathy?

Cranial Osteopathy is a subtle form of Osteopathy. Cranial Osteopaths focus on and tap into the subtle and rhythmical changes that are held within our bodies. Applying very gentle manipulative pressure on the body, the Osteopath is able to detect and then release stresses and imbalances that occur from physical and emotional trauma.
Long lasting damage from car accidents, falls, sport injuries and emotional traumas such as bereavements, are common examples where the body has had to absorb considerable stress but has never fully healed. A Cranial Osteopath can intervene and encourage the healing process by releasing tensions.

What to expect from treatment

All Cranial Osteopathy is carried out by our team of experienced and fully trained Osteopaths. Your practitioner will carry out an initial diagnosis that lasts for up to 45 minutes. This includes a physical examination and taking a detailed case history to determine the cause of the complaint and where the key imbalance lies. Once this is completed, the Osteopath will develop a tailored treatment programme to address the symptoms and specific needs of the patient. Subsequent treatments will last for up to 45 minutes.

5 stars!

“Payal has been a miracle worker when it comes to fixing me, my wife and my extended family’s issues, we also recommended her to a friend of ours who had suffered with debilitating migraines for years and tried everything at great expense to try to resolve them, after just two visits to Payal she’s never had migraine since (and that was over 8 years ago). Highly recommended!”
