What is Five Element Acupuncture?
Acupuncturists are able to access, influence and restore balance to the energy that flows through our bodies by inserting very fine needles into the surface of the skin. It is this energy that dictates not only how our physical body functions, but also how we experience our emotions. Because Acupuncture works on the physical, emotional and mental levels of a person, it is excellent for treating many different conditions at the same time. We also specialise in Facial Acupuncture.
What to expect from treatment
Your practitioner will carry out a detailed diagnosis before you receive treatment that can last for up to 45 minutes. This involves discussing your personal and medical history and the reasons why you want to come for acupuncture. A short physical examination is also done that includes taking your blood pressure and looking at the balance of energy in the body. The diagnosis allows the practitioner to identify the key imbalance that exists within the patient and develop a treatment procedure that is designed to address the symptoms and support the patient as a whole. Each subsequent treatment lasts for approximately 30 minutes.

5 stars!
Payal at Blossom Health is the only one I remain impressed by. She not only juggled her schedule to fit me in but addressed the issues and provided the thorough explanation I was after. I would refer anyone to her practice.”
